Sweepix Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Sweepix: Gallery Cleaner mobile app (iOS and Android) and explains which data is processed while you use the app, for what purpose and by whom.
Sweepix is owned by Ahmet AYDIN (AA Studio), who is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.
In Short
- Your photos and videos never leave your phone. All similar, blurry, screenshot, messaging media and storage analysis runs on your device; no media file is uploaded to us or to any other server.
- You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- The free version shows ads. Advertising and measurement tools may use device identifiers; on iOS this only happens if you allow it.
- Premium purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details.
- We don't sell your data.
Gallery Access and Data That Stays on Your Device
Sweepix accesses your photo and video library only to the extent you allow; the limited access option on iOS is also supported. This access is used to show your media, carry out the keep/delete decisions you make by swiping, find similar and blurry photos, screenshots, media from messaging apps and large videos, and analyze storage.
Analysis results, cleanup history, settings and preferences are stored only on your device. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation.
Items you move to the Private Vault are stored on your device encrypted with AES-256. If you unlock the vault with Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint, the operating system performs the check; we never access your biometric data.
Notifications
Sweepix reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; we don't use a server that identifies you to send them. You can turn notifications off anytime in your device settings.
Ads
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited). To serve and measure ads and prevent abuse, AdMob may process your IP address, advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), device and app information, and ad interactions. See Google's explanation for details.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form is shown before any ads. You can change your choice anytime from the Ad Privacy Options row in the app.
- On iOS, if you don't allow app tracking (ATT), your advertising ID is not shared and only non-personalized ads are requested.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Premium users see no ads.
App Statistics and Install Measurement
We use the tools below to improve the app and measure how well our promotional campaigns work. No photo, video, file name or gallery content is ever sent to them.
| Service | Purpose and data processed |
|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) | Usage statistics: which screens and features are used, app version, device type, approximate country and an app instance ID. |
| Meta App Events (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) | Measuring the effect of our ads through basic events such as opening the app; the advertising ID if permitted. |
| Install source measurement (our own server, Google Cloud, Belgium) | A random install ID, the platform and, on Android, the Google Play install referrer, sent once to count which campaign the app was downloaded from. |
On iOS, these three tools only run if you allow app tracking (ATT); otherwise they stay off. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, this measurement is on; you can limit ad measurement by deleting your advertising ID in your device settings.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Premium (monthly, yearly or lifetime) is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment and billing details are processed by these stores; we never see your card details or your store account's email address.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to verify purchases and unlock Premium. RevenueCat receives a random user ID created by the app, purchase and subscription records (product, date, price, currency, country, store transaction ID), and app and device information (app version, operating system). This ID is not linked to your name, email address or store account.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Sharing and International Transfers
We don't sell your data and don't share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above, except with authorities when required by law. These providers' servers may be located outside Türkiye, in the European Union and the United States; data may be processed abroad under these services' agreements and safeguards.
Retention
Data on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Data held by service providers is kept for the period configured in each service (up to 14 months in Firebase Analytics). Purchase records are kept as long as needed to maintain your Premium access, meet legal obligations and handle refunds.
Your Rights
Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, depending on where you live, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws, you have the right to access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing and withdraw consent you have given.
You can manage photo access, tracking and notification permissions in your device settings, and ad consent from Ad Privacy Options in the app. To make a request, write to us; because the app has no accounts, we may ask for some details (such as the purchase date and store transaction ID) to identify you. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Sweepix is intended for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe this has happened, just write to us.
Changes
We may update this policy when needed. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
