AyClean Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the AyClean: File Cleaner mobile app (iOS and Android), owned by Ahmet AYDIN (AA Studio). By downloading or using the app you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the app.
How your data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
The Service
AyClean is a tool that finds junk file candidates (temporary files, incomplete downloads, installer files, old downloads, large files, empty folders) in the storage areas you allow, shows the reason behind each suggestion and cleans the files you select. It also offers a guide for cleanup steps you perform yourself in the system. The app is free and contains no ads or in-app purchases. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Platform Limits
- On iPhone, AyClean only works in folders you choose in the Files app. iOS does not allow access to other apps' caches or to System Data, and AyClean does not claim to clean them.
- On Android, Android/data, Android/obb and other apps' internal data cannot be scanned, even with "All files access".
- AyClean does not guarantee that a specific amount of space will be freed. The change in free space shown is an observation reported by the device and may also be affected by what other apps and the system do at the same time.
Deletion and Backups
- AyClean never deletes a file without your selection and confirmation. Deletion decisions are yours.
- Suggestions are automatic estimates based on file type, location, size and date, and may be wrong. Always review the list before deleting.
- On Android, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. On iPhone, moving to the trash happens only if the provider of the chosen folder supports it; the permanent delete option cannot be undone.
- Clearing app caches on Android is performed by Android after your confirmation. Apps rebuild their caches over time.
- You carry out the steps in the guide yourself. Choosing "Done" is your own report; AyClean never presents an action it did not perform as verified.
- We recommend backing up your important files regularly.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and limited license to use the app for personal purposes on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent or sell the app, or use it for unlawful purposes. All rights in the app and its content belong to Ahmet AYDIN.
Additional Terms for Apple Users
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. These terms are between you and Ahmet AYDIN; we, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its maintenance and support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and is not guaranteed to run without interruption or errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from files deleted with your confirmation, lost data, service interruptions or errors in suggestions. These limitations do not affect cases of intent or gross negligence, or consumer rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
Termination
If you breach these terms, your right to use the app may end. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Changes
We may update these terms when needed. The current version is always published on this page with its update date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumers in Türkiye, consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts have jurisdiction. Consumers living in another country keep the rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country and their right to bring claims before their local courts.
