AyClean Privacy Policy
This policy covers the AyClean: File Cleaner mobile app (iOS and Android) and explains which data is processed while you use the app, where, and why.
AyClean is owned by Ahmet AYDIN (AA Studio), who is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.
In Short
- AyClean has no account, server or cloud service. Your files, file names, folder paths and scan results never leave your phone; they are not sent to us or anyone else.
- The app contains no ads, usage analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools. The Android version does not even request internet access.
- AyClean does not look at your photos or videos and never asks for gallery or photo permission.
- No file is deleted without your selection and confirmation.
Data Processed on Your Device
The following information is processed and stored only on your device, in AyClean's own storage.

Permissions
- Android, "All files access": Used to scan your phone's shared storage (Downloads, Documents and other shared folders) for junk files and to delete the files you select and confirm. Without it, only the folders you pick are scanned. Even with this permission, Android/data, Android/obb and other apps' internal data stay closed. You can turn it off at any time in Android settings.
- Android 10 and earlier: Storage read and write permission is requested for the same purpose.
- Android, clearing app caches: This is done by Android's own confirmation dialog. AyClean does not see which files are deleted; it only reads the result and measures free space on the device.
- Android, limited app visibility: The guide checks on your device whether a few listed common apps (e.g. Chrome, WhatsApp, Telegram, Spotify) are installed and, if you want, opens that app's system info screen. This information is not sent anywhere. The permission to list all apps is not used.
- iOS: AyClean only accesses folders you choose in the Files app and its own folder. iPhone does not allow access to other apps' data or to System Data.
Sharing and Third Parties
AyClean contains no third-party analytics, advertising or payment services, and your data is not shared with anyone. Links in the app (for example Apple or Google help pages and this policy) open in your browser, where those sites' own privacy policies apply.
Apple and Google process data under their own policies when distributing the app through the App Store and Google Play. These stores may show us aggregate download statistics and crash reports only if you agreed to share them with developers. These reports do not include your name or contact details.
When You Contact Us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and resolve your request, and we delete them within a reasonable time after the request is closed.
Retention and Deletion
The data above stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. When you remove a folder from the app, its access record is deleted too. Since we have no server, we hold no app data about you.
Your Rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, depending on where you live, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, object to processing and withdraw consent. Because AyClean keeps your data on your device, you can manage it yourself by uninstalling the app or turning off permissions in device settings. For requests about emails you sent us, write to us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or the data protection authority in your country.
Children
AyClean is intended for a general audience and does not collect personal data from anyone.
Changes
We may update this policy when needed. The current version is always published on this page with its update date. If a service that collects data is ever added to the app, this page will be updated beforehand.
